Axial Metal Expansion Joint and Vibration Damper
Designed to absorb axial compression or extension movements in straight sections of pipe. This model must be installed between fixed points with unidirectional axial guides, containing effects of the reaction force by pressure of the joints. Composed of stainless steel bellows (flexible element), stainless steel inner guide and carbon or stainless steel terminals. We have in our standard line the models H-JEAP - Axial Expansion Joint (PPS - soldering tip terminals) and H-JEAF - Axial Expansion Joint with Flanges, fixed or loose, according to ASME B 16.5 150 # and EN1092-1 PN10. The joints can also be supplied with a tensile structure in galvanized carbon steel.
The Axial Expansion Joint can also be designed to absorb mechanical vibrations of small amplitude, reducing or eliminating mechanical and noise vibrations from equipment such as suction and discharge pumps, turbine inlet and outlet, fans, piston engines, compressors, etc. We have in our standard line the models H-JEAVP - Vibration Damping Expansion Joint (PPS - soldering tip terminals) and H-JEAVF - Vibration Damping Expansion Joint with Flanges, fixed or loose, according to ASME B standards 16.5 150 # and EN1092-1 PN10.
